Inserts for dial gauges
Inserts for dial gauges are accessories that have been specially developed for dial gauges or measuring calipers. They are used to extend the functions of the metrology instruments and adapt them to specific measuring tasks or to different measuring requirements. By using suitable inserts, precise measurements can be carried out on a range of surfaces, forms and geometries. Probes, also known as styli, are interchangeable tips or attachments that are attached to the dial gauge. The probe is used to establish contact between the dial gauge and the object to be measured. Extensions are accessories that enable the reach of the dial gauge to be extended. A probe insert is a special attachment that is used to measure individual components, parts or other objects.
